World Skate Games 2026: Asunción in Paraguay confirmed as host 

Paraguay’s capital Asunción has been announced as the host city for the World Skate Games in 2026 – the event’s fifth edition.  Previously held in Nanjing, China (2017); Barcelona, Spain (2019); Buenos Aires, Argentina (2022); and most recently across four regions of Italy (2024), Paraguay will become the second South American nation to host the World Skate Games, following Argentina's successful organisation in 2022. Dolomiti Valtellina Winter Youth Olympic Games 2028 to be a legacy of Milano Cortina 2026

Dolomiti Valtellina, in the Italian Alps, has been elected by members of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to host the next Winter Youth Olympic Games (YOG) in 2028.  Following a presentation by the project leaders during the 143rd IOC Session in Lausanne, it was confirmed that Dolomiti Valtellina 2028 will be the fifth edition of the Winter YOG.
