"It is time we begin to come out of the world of  materialism and move into a more spiritual world in preparation for the millennium. We need to look into the spiritual in all things. plants, animals, ourselves , and each other. If we are to survive the trials promised by prophecy before the coming of the Savior, we must find out individually by the spirit just what makes us tick.  We have too long lived with the world of chemicals, attempting to force chemicals to adapt to our bodies, trying to prove we are smarter than God.  Until we resolve this problem and bring ourselves into harmony with God's laws of nature, both physical and spiritual, we will remain in spiritual darkness.  We have filled our bodies and our live plants and animals with chemicals, poisons and drugs and have created in ourselves a filthiness, a pain, a stink, a death, a confusion of mind, a nervousness, and a stress unbearable.  We run to and fro trying to find peace and health.  We burden ourselves with more stress to earn the money to pay high medical costs and the high cost of death.  We burden ourselves with the acquisition of worldly things.  Vapors of smoke rise from our cities to further pollute our bodies and our lungs, all to make sacrifice to the God of money.  We chop down our orchards and fill the spaces with "house upon house and city upon city."  On our holidays and Sabbaths, we rush from this insanity to the beaches or mountains to find a little peace to draw a charge again on our low body battery, only to find everyone else is there struggling for a spot.  We have filled mother earth's life water arteries in her old age with pollution and waste.  With all the bad blood of generations and being the children of an old mother earth, whose strength and vigor are weakened, we add insult to the earth and do hurt to her and to ourselves, with all the sophistication and self-assurance of an insane man who thinks he is Napoleon.

It is time we begin to look to the things God has created to heal and feed our bodies.  It is time we begin to analyze what we have in vegetation surrounding us and stop the senseless attempt to create health and life in a test tube.   It is time we free ourselves from the death grip of science and worldly things to look at the spirit of man.  It is time to give our children health and strength, peace and happiness, the kind that  can only be given through healthy bodies and pure spirits."

Quoted from "Is any among you sick?" by LA Dean Griffen

The words of wisdom in the  above quote which was published in April 1974 ring ever so true and offer us the hope of returning our Earth to the Garden it was intended to be by our Creator.

Genesis 1:27-31

27
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.
28
God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground."
29
Then God said, "I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food.
30
And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds of the air and all the creatures that move on the ground--everything that has the breath of life in it--I give every green plant for food." And it was so.
31
God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning--the sixth day.

Genesis 1:27-31
