The Seven Steps of Surrender

Return Home

To know God a person needs to do three things every day. First, he needs to repent every day of all his sins. this means a willingness to give up any habit, any addictions, any sin, and God will provide the help and power to quit. the second thing a person needs to do to find God in his life is to take THE SEVEN STEPS OF FULL SURRENDER, giving Christ everything.

Those SEVEN STEPS are:

The Bible says we must do three things every day to know God. We must repent, and we must surrender. Then third, we must accept God by childlike faith.

    Faith means: FORSAKING ALL I TAKE HIM             __Dr. Phillip Hinerman

Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.   Revelation 3:20

Hymn

I Surrender All

1.	All to Jesus I surrender;
	all to him I freely give;
	I will ever love and trust him,
	in his presence daily live.
Refrain:
	I surrender all, I surrender all,
	all to thee, my blessed Savior,
	I surrender all.

2.	All to Jesus I surrender;
	humbly at his feet I bow,
	worldly pleasures all forsaken;
	take me, Jesus, take me now.
	(Refrain)

3.	All to Jesus I surrender;
	make me, Savior, wholly thine;
	fill me with thy love and power;
	truly know that thou art mine.
	(Refrain)

4.	All to Jesus I surrender;
	Lord, I give myself to thee;
	fill me with thy love and power;
	let thy blessing fall on me.
	(Refrain)

5.	All to Jesus I surrender;
	now I feel the sacred flame.
	O the joy of full salvation!
	Glory, glory, to his name!
	(Refrain)
