In 2025\, the Laver Cup will be played at the Chase Center in San Francisco\, California\, from 19-21 September.  \nThe format features two teams: Team Europe and Team World. Each team consists of six players\, including the top three ranked players from their respective regions and three captain’s picks. Tennis icons Björn Borg (Team Europe) and John McEnroe (Team World) have captained the teams since the event’s inception\, adding a layer of historical rivalry and prestige to the competition. Following the 2024 event in Berlin\, which Team Europe won 13-11\, it was announced that Borg and McEnroe would be stepping down as captains.
