The Greatest Commandment
Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees got together. One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question:
"Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."
This site is for those of all faiths and
those without a
faith in G-d with a hope and prayer that they will find Jesus Christ
as
their personal savior and know that
He is King of Kings and Lord of Lords. I say this based on the miracles
in my life, the many times death has knocked on my
door only to be saved time and again.
My only goal is to inspire and give hope for those who are
hurting, lonely, shut in or have any of the many problems,
illnesses and difficulties this 'World' can present to
each of us and that they will find solace,
comfort and peace in the arms of
Jesus. The answers to my prayers over the
years have not always come when or in the fashion I desired but they
were always answered, many answered years after prayed.
I am a seven year lung cancer survivor, one of several fatal diseases I have encountered. This has only enhanced my faith.
I say faith,
not luck because in my heart I know G-d is there watching over me.
" Come
to me, all you who are weary and burdened,
and I will give you rest.
Matthew 11:28
My prayer in starting this website was
and remains if it
helps one person I will have done my job.
Interestingly, that one person it helps daily is me.
When my life on this Earth ends and my spirit
returns to G-d,
I will be happy if I can reach the state of love that the thirteenth
century Poet, Rumi reached during his life. Those in attendance
at his funeral were Christian, Jew and Muslim; and no doubt
many other Religions and Philosophical leanings. One of
Rumi's quotes (Paraphrased), is:
"I went to a Church to find
G-d and He wasn't there.
I went to a Synagogue to find G-d
and He wasn't there.
I went to Mosque to find G-d and
He wasn't there.
I went into my heart and He was there".
Jesus the Way to the Father
John 14: 5-14
5Thomas said to him, "Lord, we don't know where you
are going, so how can we know the way?"
6Jesus answered,
"I am the way and the truth and the life. No
one comes to the Father except through me.
7If you
really knew me, you would know
my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him."
8Philip said, "Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough
for us."
9Jesus answered: "Don't you know me, Philip, even after I have
been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father.
How can you say, 'Show us the Father'?
10Don't you
believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I
say to you are not just my own. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who
is doing his work.
11Believe me when I
say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on
the evidence of the miracles themselves.
12I tell you the truth, anyone who has
faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things
than these, because I am going to the Father.
13And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring
glory to the Father.
14You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.
In my view, The Creator G-d made
all things
and that we are made of the Stardust that
The Creator used to make all things. My own Religious beliefs come from
reading the Bible many times and allowing my Spirit to be open to what the
words bring to my heart. The foundation of my beliefs of course come from
childhood teachings' from family, and the Baptist Church. I hold no
belief in any particular denomination or religion, I only know G-d
through my Spirit and what I believe to be what the Holy Spirit teaches me
in my heart and the intelligence that God gave me to use the brain He
created.

Traditions
and Secular Traditions will be found in pages of this Website.
It is for each person in their journey through life to find
The Joy of their lives and what part of that Stardust is their destiny.
The Lord G-d took the man and
put him in the
Garden of Eden as its
Gardener,
to tend and care for it. Genesis 2:15-16
This beautiful blue and green earth is not being tended to,
rather it is being destroyed by man.
The first job G-d
gave Adam was to "tend" and "care"
for the Garden of Eden, then Adam was given the
gift of woman, and the responsibility to "tend" and to "care"
for her and she for him, helping each other.
With the fruit of their becoming one the Lord gave the
precious gift of a child and their responsibility was to then
"tend" and "care" for their family along with the Garden.
Tending the Garden believes our role today is still the
same,
to "tend" and "care" for G-d's Green Earth that supports
and provides for every man, woman, boy and girl alive
today and for future generations. And to "tend'
and "care" for all G-d's children beginning with each family
and extending to the family of man. It is my prayer at Tending
the Garden that G-d will use this Website in His Way
and that the message boards for Prayer Request-Praise
Reports and Inspirational stories will "Serve" our Brothers
and Sisters by providing a forum to enable us to follow the command,
"Love
the Lord your G-d with all your heart
and with all your soul and with all your mind.
This is the first and greatest commandment.
And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself.
All the Law and
the Prophets hang on these two commandments." Matt. 22:37-40

The Lord G-d is the Master Potter and the Master Gardener.
He not only molds and shapes our lives,
He "tends" to every aspect and detail of our lives
and He "cares" for us with His Infinite Love
and His Grace that exceeds our understanding.
"You
did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed
you to go and bear fruit--fruit that will last."
(John 15:16)
G-d also gives us positive people in our
lives.
G-d gives us parents, friends, relatives, teachers,
ministers, Rabbis and Angels to help mold our lives.
Do not forget to entertain
strangers, for by so doing
some people have entertained angels without knowing it.
Hebrews 13:2
G-d
has a plan of happiness and joy for each of his children,
you and me including all that have lived and all that will
ever live on this wonderful earth God created for us.
