Free tickets released for golf’s DP World Tour Championship in Dubai 

As with previous years, general admission tickets will be free for golf fans eager to watch the DP World Tour Championship in Dubai. The DP World Tour’s season-ending Rolex Series event will be held from 17-20 November at Jumeirah Golf Estates.  The Earth course will once again welcome the top 50 players on the DP World Tour Rankings presented by Rolex. Some of the hottest names in the game are expected to make the trip to Dubai for the prestigious tournament, including the likes of former champions and major winners Matthew Fitzpatrick, Rory McIlroy, Collin Morikawa and Jon Rahm.  This year’s tournament will also boast a record US$10m prize fund, making the season finale the first DP World Tour event in history outside the Majors and WGCs to feature an eight-figure prize fund. Dubai to host 111 sports events in November

Dubai is going sports crazy in the month of November with 111 events taking place in the emirate. Of the events on the schedule, 20 are at international level and four are world championships: the 25th Karate World Championships, IBF Bowling World Championships, FIDE World Chess Championship, and cricket’s ICC Men’s Twenty20 World Cup. This month will also see the highest ranked golfers on the European Tour’s Race to Dubai contest the final tournament of the season, the $9m DP World Tour Championship at Jumeirah Golf Estates from 18-21 November, while the top eight teams from the world of beach soccer will battle on the sands of Kite Beach in the 10th Tecnotree Intercontinental Beach Soccer Cup Dubai. 2022 Dubai World Cup Carnival guide: Super Saturday and World Cup dates confirmed

Dates for the 2022 Dubai World Cup Carnival, Super Saturday and Dubai World Cup night have been confirmed.  Dubai Racing Club has announced an enhanced racing calendar for the 2021-2022 season, which will now include a four-race “Jumeirah Series” on turf launched for the Classic generation, plus an exciting new race for Super Saturday, the WAM Emirates News Agency reported.  The Carnival, which begins at Meydan Racecourse on 13 January, will have several new races for 2022. The Super Saturday card, sponsored by Emirates Airline, is scheduled for 5 March 2022 and will welcome the addition of a new race - the $300,000 Ras Al Khor over 1,400m on turf.
