Many of us were fortunate to have Jean Newman for one or more of our English Classes at Greensboro Senior High. On the last day of class in our graduation year, she handed out this mimeographed note to all her students. I truly loved this woman; don't know if she's still living or not. She had a daughter, Donna, whom you may remember.

For many others, they were also very fortunate to have been taught English by Mary Nell Parker. We mourn her passing on January 26, 2002. She gave me hope, and the desire to learn. She also became a lifetime friend.

The End!!! The Classes of 60, 61 and 62 met at the Center of the Known Universe....Greensboro, North Carolina and the party was wonderful and filled with a spirit of love and friendship that is rare in today's culture.

Regrets

I am sorry that I cannot make it. I really was planning to, but as I mentioned will be leaving for China and Viet Nam on the 11th. Please give my best wishes to the people I know and I hope everyone has a great time.
