A Psalm of Asaph.

73:1 Truly God is good to Israel,
to those who are pure in heart.
2 But as for me, my feet had almost stumbled,
my steps had nearly slipped.
3 For I was envious of the arrogant
when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.

4 For they have no pangs until death;
their bodies are fat and sleek.
5 They are not in trouble as others are;
they are not stricken like the rest of mankind.
6 Therefore pride is their necklace;
violence covers them as a garment.
7 Their eyes swell out through fatness;
their hearts overflow with follies.
8 They scoff and speak with malice;
loftily they threaten oppression.
9 They set their mouths against the heavens,
and their tongue struts through the earth.
10 Therefore his people turn back to them,
and find no fault in them. [1]
11 And they say, “How can God know?
Is there knowledge in the Most High?”
12 Behold, these are the wicked;
always at ease, they increase in riches.
13 All in vain have I kept my heart clean
and washed my hands in innocence.
14 For all the day long I have been stricken
and rebuked every morning.
15 If I had said, “I will speak thus,”
I would have betrayed the generation of your children.

16 But when I thought how to understand this,
it seemed to me a wearisome task,
17 until I went into the sanctuary of God;
then I discerned their end.

26 My flesh and my heart may fail,
but God is the strength [2] of my heart and my portion forever.

27 For behold, those who are far from you shall perish;
you put an end to everyone who is unfaithful to you.
28 But for me it is good to be near God;
I have made the Lord God my refuge,
that I may tell of all your works.

And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am [Christ]; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them. (Luke 21:8)

Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: Matthew 24:29

Lamentations 3:22 -

(I love both translations of this first line)

His compassions fail not. They are new every morning.

Great is Your faithfulness.

Surely He has borne our grief's and carried our sorrows.

I always think that if Jesus had not carried our grief's and sorrows, we would not be able to withstand. We would be consumed. But because He has, we can. Isn't Jesus just wonderful? He is able to do anything, and He has allowed, even asked, us to graft into Him. What a Savior!

Isaiah 53:4

God bless.

Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

Psalm 16:11

Your eye is the lamp of your body; when your eye is sound, your whole body is full of light; but when it is not sound, your body is full of darkness. For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.
II Timothy 1:7

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge,

Proverbs 1:1-7

"Behold, He does not slumber and does not sleep, the Guardian of Israel" (Psalms 121:4). Someone said, "I used to stay up at night worrying. Then I realized that G-d is going to be awake anyway. There's no point in both of us staying up."

        A fortress of defense to save me.

       ³For You are my rock and my fortress;
        Therefore, for Your name's sake,

       ⁴Pull me out of the net which they have secretly laid for me,
        For You are my strength.
       ⁵Into Your hand I commit my spirit;
        You have redeemed me, O LORD God of truth.

       ⁶I have hated those who regard useless idols;
        But I trust in the LORD.
       ⁷I will be glad and rejoice in Your mercy,
        For You have considered my trouble;
        You have known my soul in adversities,
